| Description of the problem | The fuel tank does not fill up to capacity. I am only able to fill ~8 gallons in a tank which has a 14. 5 gallon capacity. Also, when the low fuel indicator comes on, "miles to empty" reads only about ~30 miles which is incorrect in my opinion. There must be a calibration issue. I took it to the service station and they said there is no fix from toyota. The recent recall affecting 700,000 cars with a fuel pump issue does not include my car (searched by vin) or any rav4 hybrids for that matter. How long is one supposed to wait before hearing back from the manufacturer? I have attached the service appointment confirmation. |
