Description of the problem	When filling my gas tank the fuel system does the auto shut off before the fuel tank is full. The first few times i filled the new vehicle, i put the nozzle back in the pump thinking it was full, but when i started my car, the fuel gauge registered about 2-3 ticks below the full line, so maybe 7/8 full. The next few times i continued to fill well past the automatic fuel shut off and put in at least 2-3 gallons more. This goes against environment recommendations but i should be able to get a full tank of gas on a new car, not just 9 gallon on a 14. 5 gallon tank.
