Description of the problem	The gas tank will not fill completely, even when fuel gage says 30 miles to empty and less than a quarter of a tank remaining. I am only able to fill max 9. 5 gallons (spec says tank is 14. 5 gallons). After pump clicks suggesting the tank is "full", the fuel gauge in the car does not reach "full" marking, rather half way between 3/4 and a full tank. I have brought the vehicle to the dealership and they are unaware of any similar problems although several complaints have been made regarding this problem both to nhtsa and toyota corp. They do not have any fixes for this problem. This impairs the use of the vehicle as the amount of gallons in the car is never actually known, as well as affects the market value of the car as it is marketed at 14. 5 gallon tank with ~500 miles per tank. I can barely get 380 miles a tank. This car was purchased a month ago, brand new. I have made several stops at the gas station as my daily commute is approximately 90 miles roundtrip. The tank has not filled completely once since the purchase of this car.
