Description of the problem	Both rear stabilizer bar connector links snapped off toward the bottom of each link right above the threaded portion indicating that is a weak area. This was not due to rusting, the links just snapped off in the same location. I worked for another dealership in the same dealer group as a service manager and the staff there told me that this is a product problem and they had replaced at least 55 pair of these links. I called toyota customer service to request a goodwill repair authorization and the first question they asked me was if i had the vehicle serviced at the dealership. I said no because as a former technician, i do all my own vehicle maintenance. They said they could not help because of that. This involves a known product problem that they would have taken care of thru what all manufacturers call "hidden warranty" if i had allowed the dealer to service the vehicle. This is discriminatory and should have been taken care of more importantly because it is a safety issue affecting the suspension and vehicle handling. I noticed the problem last fall when the vehicle starting making a clunking noise in the rear and handled sloppy in the rear suspension. You have had a number of other reports as well on this specific problem.
