Description of the problem	2010 toyota rav 4. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle wheel alignment issues. smd the consumer stated on december 19, 2016 she had her bald tires replaced with new tires. A wheel alignment diagnostic was part of the service. The diagnostic showed the vehicle needed an alignment, especially in the rear. The consumer gave the approval for the wheel alignment. However, the technician returned and said it couldn't be performed because of a bar that was in the rear of the vehicle that had no screwed to adjust it, and there was a sticker saying do not remove. He stated he could do the front, but it would not be correct, because the rear needed to be aligned as well. The consumer went to the dealer, who installed the bar as part of a recall. The dealer stated the vehicle was out of alignment and corporate would have to be informed as to see what the next step would be. The dealer informed the consumer, the alignment was $89. 00. However, it would cost $59. 00 to check it. The consumer was in disagreement with the $59 charge just to check. jb *js
