Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2008 toyota rav4. The contact stated that the oil level was low right after an oil change was performed. The vehicle was taken to c. F. Schwartz toyota (1536 n dupont hwy, dover, de 19901, (302) 734-5748) and the oil was changed. The dealer informed the contact to watch and check the oil level after fuel was added to the vehicle. One month later, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the contact was informed of a warranty enhancement program that required an engine replacement at the cost of $4,000. The warranty had special qualifications, but the expiration date had passed; therefore, the dealer would not cover the repairs. The manufacturer stated that they could not honor the warranty and referred the contact to nhtsa. The failure mileage was 114,000.
