| Description of the problem | Steering is beginning to feel loose. When making turns to right or left there is a clunking sound at low speeds. Getting worse with time. This appears to be exactly the same situation described by many other rav4 owners who are reporting that led to their repairs/replacement of the intermediate steering shafts on which toyota has issued a service bulletin but no recall. This would seem to be a safety concern. First noticed the clunking sound at about 45,000 miles. *tt |
