Description of the problem	I purchased a used 2007 toyota rav4 in late february 2015. According to my trusted and loyal car repairman, the car is a lemon. In the short time i have owned it, i have accrued well over $6000. 00 in repairs which did not refurbish the vehicle and now the vehicle is not driveable as the engine malfunctioned. The dealership where i purchased it is refusing to help me since i purchased the vehicle without a warranty. It is my understanding that illinois does not have lemon laws for consumers of used vehicles, however, the federal government may have lemon law protection for me. I am now seeking free legal consultation to successfully resolve this matter to recoup the purchase price, all subsequent repairs, legal fees, and damages for being stranded on the highway during a long distance vacation miles from home. The car had no warning lights come on whatsoever. Had the car died any sooner, we would not have made it to the shoulder risking a high-speed multiple car accident pileup on the highway.
