Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota rav4. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for nhtsa campaign id number: 11v245000 (air bag: side window) to have the side air bags sensor replaced. The contact was made aware that the spiral cable failed as a result of the defective sensor. The manufacturer was contact who did not offer any assistance since the spiral cable was not included in the recall. The vin was not available. The current mileage was 90,000. The consumer stated when the srs light illuminated, she took the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer informed the her, the vehicle was under a recall for a defective side impact air bag ecm and they would run a diagnostic to see what error code was causing the activation of the warning light. The consumer received a call from the service dept, and they stated the vehicle was reporting two separate error codes; the first for the recalled ecm, which was replaced, and a second for a defective spiral cable, which was related to the air bag system, but not covered under the recall.
