| Description of the problem | 2 unintended acceleration instances --- i have had two unintended acceleration instances in a 2006 toyota rav4. In both cases i was wearing boots and the boot hitting the brake overlapped and hit the accelerator at the same time. Neither case resulted in a collision. One of the problems here is that the brake pedal fully depressed position is well below the accelerator pedal position so overlap can apply the brake and accelerator at the same time. |
