| Description of the problem | I own a 2006 toyota rav 4 v6. I have under 21,000 miles on the vehicle and my manufacturers warranty expired in august. For about a week now i've been hearing a loud, clunking noise whenever i make a left or right turn. Took the car to the toyota dealership today and was told i had a steering shaft problem, which would cost over $400 to fix. I happen to check this out on the web and realized that many others are having the same problem. What's going on? Did toyota issue a recall? |
