| Description of the problem | Engine started excessively burning oil at approx 110,000 mile mark. Took to dealer. Warranty was still valid. Engine would be almost dry at 3,000 mile mark. They did a consumption test, said it passed. When i asked how that could be since it shouldn't be dry at 3,000 mile mark. They told me to watch it and come back. When it happened again, way before next oil change was needed, 3,300 miles, bone dry, they said my warranty was expired. Internet shows this is a problem with my make, model and year car, they know it, but refuse to recall due to cost. They refuse to fix the engine. |
