| Description of the problem | Since we had purchase our car prius v four with drl (day running lights)(vertical led unit in bumper) they never worked properly-hence not visible in our accident.. Unlike other earlier models the user could adjust the sensor and turn this feature on or off-but now the feature can only be performed by a toyota service mechanic. The feature also operates off a day light sensor that also cannot be adjusted by the owner of the vehicle. Hence since this is a safety feature noted in faq on toyotas site it should be considered for a recall. |
