| Description of the problem | I own a 2010 toyota matrix. The driver's seat belt buckle does not function properly, and often doesn't allow the locking/closing of the buckle and belt. That is, the buckle doesn't allow for safe, complete use. I contacted the local toyota dealership in ventura approx. 2 weeks ago, and the toyota of america corporation on sept. 12, 2014, but both refuse to replace the broken buckle for free because they say it's not a recall item. I think this should be recall item because it poses a safety hazard. Please make this a safety recall item as it poses a risk of injury or death, and please assist me in getting it replaced and fixed without my incurring a fee. Thank you. |
