Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owns a 2009 toyota matrix. The contact was driving approximately 65 mph with the cruise control activated, suddenly the vehicle accelerated to 80 mph or greater. The cruise . Control was deactivated and the vehicle continued at the increased speed rate. There was pressure applied to the brake pedal twice before the vehicle slowed down.
