| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2009 toyota highlander with mcneil weather tech floor mats with part number 44115-1-2-3. While driving 65 mph he attempted to accelerate to pass a vehicle and noticed that the floor mat became stuck behind the accelerator pedal causing the vehicle to continually accelerate. The contact was able to release the floor mat which allowed the pedal to release. The floor mat has not been confirmed as the cause of the failure by a dealer. There were no prior warnings. The failure mileage and vin were unavailable. |
