| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 toyota highlander hybrid. While engaging the brake pedal at speeds of less than 10 mph downhill or on a ramp, the vehicle responded as if the brakes had failed and lunged forward. Within minutes, the brakes began functioning normally. The dealer was contacted; however, they were unable to duplicate the failure. There were no recalls and no repairs were made to the vehicle. The failure mileage was 29,118 and the current mileage was under 30,000. |
