Description of the problem | Second or third recall on passenger airbag. Received notification of current recall (8/2019 or earlier) stating no remedy available - toyota recommends no one sitting in the passenger seat - unrealistic in setting of >6 mo timeline for repair. Checked back (2/12/20) and toyota website says remedy is now available; however, dealership (gladstone, or) service center states there is still no remedy. Extremely untimely fix to a serious safety recall. |
