| Description of the problem | Started noticing that the car was feeling weak when accelerating, and with no reason at all, at speeds around 70mph the car shuts down completely. You lose steering and braking capabilities which makes it hard to safely merge into the emergency lane. Toyota has a knowledged the recall but with no remedy as of yet (it has been since october 2020 that they recall was issued), and says car is unsafe that if i drive vehicle to stay in right lane of interstate which to me is just as dangerous as traveling in any lane on interstate, though they recommended not driving vehicle. As far as i can tell, the vehicle only will stall out at a higher speed (around 70mph). |
