| Description of the problem | Purchased my 2019 toyota camry xle couple of weeks back with 5 miles on it. Noticed the vehicle had issues with acceleration. When resuming to drive from a red light or stopped position, the car seem to have a major delay in acceleration and makes a loud engine noise when pressing the gas pedal. Even pressing down a bit more on the gas pedal during this initial acceleration, the car does not react much and barely picks up speed. There is a major delay, one that can be dangerous when merging onto a highway where quick acceleration is needed to avoid being a hazard to other motorists. Have not taken vehicle back to toyota service dealer but did text my salesman and described the issue and he said to setup an appointment. I have a feeling the service department will come back saying it |
