| Description of the problem | Shortly after purchase, driver side door window/lock/mirror control panel popped-out easily, when window control up was activated. Fortunately, i was stationary at the time, so i wasn't driving and startled/distracted by it (i. E., potential safety issue). Appears to be a retainer clip issue. I reported it to local toyota dealership, who couldn't fix it, so i shimmed the clip, and haven't had an issue, since, though it may not be easy to extract, should the need arise! No such issue with passenger side control panel. Uploaded images extracted from mov video, should you wish to review it, available upon request via e-mail (i'd have to upload it to my website, because it's a huge file). |
