| Description of the problem | The car is equipped with a low-pressure fuel pump which may stop operating which could result in the engine running rough and the vehicle to stall, thereby increasing the risk of a crash during driving. Toyota has identified this problem as early as january 2020 and notified me in writing in october 2020, but as of today (feb 21, 2021), it has not fixed the problem. I have not experienced the stalling problem, but i am worried that this could happen anytime while i am driving especially at high speed in the freeway. I am writing to complain because when i contacted toyota on feb 20, 2021, it has not provided a remedy or a fix to the problem, and it has been a year since it first identified the problem. |
