| Description of the problem | There is liquid leaking under the passenger's seat causing a horrible stench in the car. I took the car to downtown auto center in oakland, ca and worked with assistant service manager patrick who informed that this is a "known" issue with toyota but not covered by the warranty. He said that debris gets clogged in the air conditioning ventilation system causing the leak under the seat. He charged me $200 (reduced to $100 when i complained) to clear the line but did not fix the leaked water, ruined carpet or do anything about the horrible stench in the car. I am very disappointed in toyota for not covering this known issue in my 2017 camry with less than 25k miles. |
