| Description of the problem | Roughly a few weeks after purchasing my 2013 camry se and about 500 miles, i noticed a popping/clunking sound coming from the roof over the driver side. It seems to happen <30 mph and on uneven/bumpy ground. To date it has been in the toyota maintenance shop for 35 days and counting without any improvements. No one at the dealership service department has an idea of what is causing the sound or how to fix it. I am concerned that there may be some undiagnosed structural issue. They have mentioned in the previous repair attempt that the roof may be too thin allowing the metal to flex too much. |
