| Description of the problem | Suspension problem: steering needs over-correcting on highways to keep vehicle going straight. Hitting any defect in the roadbed causes the car to bounce and jar causing difficulty with steering and maintaining safe forward travel. Dealership service diagnosis was a leaking front strut. Service wanted to replace leaking strut for $500. (new strut only). Vehicle has 38,163 miles. Vehicle was an off-lease used purchase with 32,698 miles. Strut not covered by waranty which expired at 36,00 miles. |
