| Description of the problem | Noticed a large knot on the front drivers side tire that was purchased 6 months earlier. Took it to the nearest dealer of cooper tires and upon inspection it was determined that it was a manufacturer defect. If we had failed to notice this, it would have blown out while we were driving. Being on the front, this could have caused a serious accident. The tire was replaced at a pro rated rate. After reading about several other people having the same complaint, we are going to switch brands. The tires have not held up to the milage that was advertised. We have very little miles on them but they are already showing the wear bars. We have records and all the proper maintenance was done on these tires. These were not the original tires that came with the camery! |
