Description of the problem	I purchased a 2010 toyota camry from a toyota dealer on march 27, 2010 in columbus, ohio. I noticed that the bottom left-hand corner of the gear shift panel becomes hot when the head lights are turned on. I took the vehicle into the dealer (that i purchased it from) to get it looked at on tuesday, april 20 and they checked the vehicle. I was told that this was a normal occurrence for 2010 toyota camry's and that they would not be able to fix the issue. I am concerned because the cause of this defect was not identified, the dealer was not able to fix it, and i don't know if this issue is an indication of something more serious that could develop into a serious safety hazard. Plus, this is a brand new 2010 vehicle. It was not pre-owned. I first noticed this issue when the mileage on my vehicle was between 500 and 1000 miles. I noticed this issue within the first 30 days of purchase before my temporary tags expired.
