| Description of the problem | Oil consumption - my 2009 camry is using a lot of oil. Had the oil consumption test done and they said it was fine. 2 weeks later i'm already a quart low. At this rate there will be no oil left before the next oil change. Toyota customer service said excessive consumption use is 1. 5 quarts every 1200 miles that is crazy. They were no help at all. I saw online this has effected cars from 2007 to 2011. So if you own one in this year range you basically have to add oil every week or two. |
