Description of the problem	I was slowly backing out of my driveway when i heard a loud bang come from underneath the car on the left front. As i drove the car to my mechanic i heard a clanging noise coming from the left front. My mechanic told me that the spring around the strut had broken. I had the spring strut replaced at a cost of $350. I am the original owner and the car has 64,000 miles with all work performed at the toyota dealership, except my last set of michelin tires.
