| Description of the problem | Driving on the freeway, i pulled my sun visor down and it flopped in front of me. I had no choice but to pull it off as it wouldn't stay in position, up or down. I wrote to toyota and they refused to have it repaired, but they offered me a $750 discount on my next toyota purchase! Under the circumstances, i could easily have been in an accident and consider the incident a serious safety hazard. I researched the problem and found there are many such incidents. In fact one site showed hundreds of complaints for the very same thing. |
