| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 toyota camry hybrid. The contact was driving 75 mph when the vehicle independently accelerated. He then restarted the vehicle and the engine rpms were idling extremely higher than normal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing and the contact was advised that the floor mat clips were fractured and caused the failure.
