| Description of the problem | Toyota dealer has conducted 3 separate excessive oil consumption tests on my car. Each time i was told my car "passed" and did not meet their requirements for excess oil consumption. I can only go 1200-1800 miles before i am warned that my oil is low. We recently discovered that at approximately 1200 miles after my last oil change, my car was registering "0" oil. Toyota, while knowing they have a problem, are not helping me as a toyota owner. I am warned of low oil when i brake or turn. In a separate incidence, i recently spent over $2500 on the brake actuator and was told that even though i read about camrys having this problem, it did not involve the non-hybrid camry. I was driving the car when i was warned by the car of the problem. |
