| Description of the problem | 2007 toyota camry xle with 32,000 miles: driver's side interior sun visor fails to stay in upright position and locking clip snapped inside visor when attempting to secure. The visor has had problems being loose for months and falls down when going over bumps. The clip would occasionally come undone, causing the visor to swing open. When clicking the visor's lock bar into the roof lock, the bar broke off with minor force applied. Now visor will not stay in place in any position, causing dangerous visibility issue. Auth dealer offered to replace for $185, saying cannot repair. Steep price for similar problem encountered by many many other 2007 camry owners. |
