| Description of the problem | The driver side sunvisor is defective in my 2007 toyota camry. I was driving one day and the visor suddenly fell from its up-and-locked position. The first time it fell, i pushed the visor back up into its up position and it managed to stay lock, albeit not as sturdy. Subsequently, the inability of the sunvisor to stay up intensified to the point where the thing would not stay up at all. I currently have the sunvisor tied up so it does not obstruct my view while driving. I am currently looking for a replacement for the visor. However, toyota considers the sunvisor to be a "trim" item and will not replace the visor, even though i am covered under their platinum extended warranty. |
