He referenced recall 10v017000 (vehicle speed control, accelerator pedal) and stated that after the recall repair, it was more difficult for the primary driver of the vehicle to reach the brake pedal since it was placed lower to the floor. He stated that only the tips of the drivers toes touched the accelerator pedal and she had to lift her feet over the carpet to engage the brakes.
