| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. While driving at approximately 55 mph, the driver side floor mat became wedged under the accelerator pedal. It was difficult to stop the vehicle at the speed the contact was travelling but no accidents occurred. There were no prior failures related to the floor mat and accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealership on three different occasions to be repaired for the recall remedy but the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The current and failure mileages were approximately 62,000. |
