| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. When she entered the express way and accelerated 60 to 65 mph she stopped accelerating and the vehicle suddenly accelerated over 65mph on its own. As she started to apply the break the vehicle slow down when it hit an hard object on the road . She took the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer stated the damage was under the vehicle and she could continue to drive the vehicle however she hears noise coming from the engine. She took the vehicle back to the dealer. The dealer will replace the accelerator pedal but will not repair the damage under the vehicle. She is not sure if the oil container or muffler was damaged. The manufacturer took a report 100211885. The failure mileage was 25,480 and the current mileage was 53,000. |
