Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own and the rpm needle moved to the highest level. The brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle did not stop. After a few seconds, the contact shifted to the park position, removed the key from the ignition switch, and the vehicle stopped. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. The following day, the vehicle was driven to toyota treasure coast (5101 se federal highway stuart, florida 34997) where it was diagnosed that the floormat got caught between the accelerator pedal and the carpet of the vehicle. The contact also stated that a spring was found near the accelerator pedal. The dealer advised the contact to remove the front driver's side floormat while driving.
