Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. While the vehicle was parked with the engine running, the contact attempted to shift the gear shifter from park into drive and a loud noise was present. The vehicle suddenly accelerated across the street and crashed into a parked a vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. Prior to the collision, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated while driving. The dealer could not duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure after the crash and sent an inspector.
