Description of the problem	Fax fwd ltr fm (nj) re uncontrolled acceleration problem with a 2007 toyota camry, reply to newark, nj ofc. kb the consumer stated he was slowing into a parking space in the parking lot and was at the point of engaging the parking gear to turn off the engine when the vehicle accelerated out of control and took off on its on. The vehicle jumped over the curb and onto a major road. The passenger side tire burst on impact with the curb. The consumer was finally able to step on the brake to stop the vehicle.
