| Description of the problem | I have a new 2007 toyota camry that hesitates when you need to merge into traffic. It almost stalls. I have almost been involved in 3 different accidents because of this hesitation. The dealer maintenance manger told me that this is a common occurrence and complaint with this vehicle and has stated that there is nothing they can do about it. I also have a friend with a 07 rav with similar complaints. The rpm's are constantly up and down searching for gears. Toyota needs to address this manufacturer defect before people's lives are lost. This is a major safety issue. *jb |
