| Description of the problem | Excessive glare on windshield limiting visibility while driving. From news reports as seen on local nbc-tv affiliate (july 31,2019) toyota admitted that melting dashboards contributed to this safety concern/ windshield glare effect. The melting dashboard had been reported to toyota (a few months ago for the second time - originally reported in 2014 and toyota indicated they will review). The second notification resulted in the response that toyota was not aware of the issue. Issue has been getting worse over the past few years. |
