Description of the problem	My 2007 toyota camry has developed a shiny,sticky dashboard. Not only is it sticky but it because it is so shiny it produces a glare so seeing the road becomes more difficult. This glare is a safety hazard as it makes it difficult to see. I called my local toyota dealer and they informed me that there was nothing they could do about it except replace the dashboard at my expense. They stated a few years ago there was a program to replace the dashboards as the warranty was extended but since my problem happened after the extended warranty expired i was out of luck. Why didn't i get notified of the extended warranty or the issue with the dashboard? I have had this car since it was new so they had all of my information in their database and contacting me would have been very easy. I was going to pass this car down to my daughter that just got her license, but i am hesitant to let her drive the car as the glare makes it dangerous to drive. I don't want to put my daughter in an unsafe vehicle.
