Description of the problem	My car was purchased used in 2009. I've kept up with the maintenance and other issues such as the engine coils going out. Today, my car stopped as i was driving on a busy street. No, there wasn't a crash but there could have been. The car is a 2007. Luckily i stopped in front of the toyota dealership. I found out that my transmission went out. It went out with no warning prior to today. I was told it would cost $4200 to repair. I don't have that kind of money. I'm still shocked that the transmission died. I purchased a toyota because my previous car, a chevy, was giving me so many problems. When asked why would it just die without warning... I was told it just did. There's no way of knowing. I'm not understanding that when i go for regular maintenance.
