Description of the problem	During replacement of the tires on this vehicle, the mechanic observed oil leaks on both of the front struts on this car. Although this is the first time this condition was observed, the leaks must have been present for some time because this condition probably contributed to the deterioration of the tires. One of the tires actually showed areas where the steel belts of the tire were exposed - potentially a very dangerous situation.
