| Description of the problem | I reported the sticky dash problem to dealership at about 60,000 miles in 09 along with the steering wheel material falling apart. This problem has only gotten worse to the point where my dash is creating a glare on the windshield. I think there should be a recall for original owners as this can be a safety hazard. Full recall should be mandatory . But if owner has to pay it should be very little . Maybe like 500 instead of the 1800$ quote i got from the dealership . I've owned other cars in florida and never had this problem . I'm kinda disappointed that toyota will not take care of this problem and this will affect my buying decision in the future unless they fix it since this will affect my trade in value. |
