Description of the problem	Over the past several years, i have noticed my dashboard is overly hot in high temps. (i live in sw florida). Today, the dashboard is sticky, very hot, shiny in spots, and now filled with small chunks from y fingernail hitting it. I can't clean it as the rag will stick. This is obviously a material defect that the maker used. No where in my owners manual or contract did it state that the dashboard will become much after 6 years, and the car should only be used in the colder states. I use four layers of house insulation and a sun visor. Nothing helps, as this problem is aggravated by high temperatures. I am told this is a $1,000 dashboard and i will have to pay for labor to get it replaced. Really/ how unacceptable. Again, no where in my contract did it state that just over warranty expiration, the dash would melt. And how does this affect the passengers airbag? And the glare from the sun on the dash? How can this be safe. How many complaints need to happen before someone interjects? Please recall this item and make our vehicles safe. A very unsatisfied customer. (1 of many!).
