Description of the problem	Kumho tire. Left front wheel. The tread separated and the treaded part broke causing extensive damage to the left fender, fender lining, left body panel below both doors, the front bumper, the left headlight electrical system and possibly other front end damage. Driver did not hit anything on the freeway and was able to come to a safe stop without hitting anything else. This, and the other three tires on the car were purchased from discount tire on 08/04/2010, and they only have about 41,000 miles on them.
