Description of the problem	Early in 2008 i was driving the car and turned sharply to the left at slow speed and the steering wheel did not return to center until i pulled it back. I went to a large empty parking lot later and noticed that when the wheel was turned all the way to the left or right it would not return to center unless you pulled it back. This is only at slow speeds. I took the car to desert toyota on 1/21/08 invoice number tocs263971 and they replaced the steering shaft noted on tsb st002-07. I drove the car after that and noticed only a small change and the wheel still would not return when turned sharply to either side. I returned to desert toyota on 1/30/08 invoice tocs264822 and they opened a case with toyota #080300212. On 4/18/08 invoicetocs273903 field technician loren muncee came to town to examine the car. He compared it to a car that was supposedly equipped exactly like ours and said it did the same thing ours did. He also noted there was no mechanical failures on 4/28,29,and 30 i spoke to toyota customer service and dealt with julie(1800-331-4331 ext 73115) i was told that toyota had done all they were going to and my next step, if i was not satisfied, was arbitration. I have the arbitration paperwork but have not submitted it yet.
