Description of the problem	My 2007 camry acceleration has not failed to stop accelerating, but it has been slow to engage. This has made crossing intersections or blending with moving traffic difficult. I have taken the car to the dealer, and they "rebooted" the accelerator mechanism. I have also had an issue with the brakes making terrible noise when backing up. I was told that was just because the car had been setting. I was later told there is a technical bulletin regarding the brakes for the model, but since i am out of the warranty period there is noting i can do but ask for a repair. I was also reassured the noise was not a danger signal, and there was not a safety issue. Based on what i have heard the last few weeks, how can i be certain? When i said i had been driving for 50 years, and have never had a car that made this kind of noise, the dealer representative said "i had been lucky!" note my dates are on or about.
